Universidade Positivo receives support from various public and private research funding agencies, such as Fundação Araucária and other institutions committed to strengthening science, innovation, and the training of qualified human resources.
In addition to its solid institutional structure, the research projects of the PPGBiotec program are developed in collaboration with companies such as CropBio, Hilab, Baston, and Curityba Biotech. These strategic partnerships enable infrastructure sharing, optimize resource use, and bring academia closer to the needs of the productive sector, promoting knowledge and technology transfer.
Over the past four-year period, the partnerships established have shown full alignment with the professional nature of the program, strengthening ties with the market, generating concrete impacts on students’ projects, and increasing the institutional visibility of the program. The diversity of sectors involved and the connection with research lines demonstrate the program’s capacity to respond to societal demands with applied and sustainable technological solutions.
Beyond formalizing new partnerships, the program has significantly expanded the diversity of stakeholders involved, the volume of externally funded projects, and the practical engagement of its students. As a result, it has consolidated itself as a training environment focused on innovation, real-world problem solving, and sustainable national development.
